This technique is particular effective in large volume production, though the Remanence (BR) of the products is lower than those made with compression moulding, between ~200-630 mT, because of their relatively lower content of NdFeB powder. As almost any shape can be obtained, this technique can be used for overmoulding (e.g. directly injecting the bonded material onto a shaft), making this material an alternative for Ferrite segments in brushless motors.
It is also possible to combine bonded NdFeB techniques with other components to create subassemblies.
